HI purplecat, the last baby wearing meeting the mama that runs it wasn't able to make it. Typically they run on the first or second tuesday of the new month.
I know that I have seen some babywearing group in transition threads so I"m not sure whats happening with it.
I do have a sling loan program if you'd like to test out a gauze, stretch or a mei tei. I typically lend them for a week and if you like the sling you have an option to purchase if it wasn't for you or your child didn't like it you can simply return it for something you do like.

My sister-in-law gave me a call this morning - she's due Dec 1st and looking for a comfortable carrier for her new babe since she'll be chasing around her toddler at the same time. Any ideas on when/where the next meeting is?

I'm looking forward to the next meeting!! I'm keeping my eye on the news. I can't wait 2 more weeks. Well, I can. I don't want to.
Would someone be willing to give me a 1 on 1 with my wrap?? I can get my little guy into an upright position...But he doesn't look like the baby in the picture!! haha. His head is at an odd angle among other troubles.

I am still using my active baby bjiorn carrier for DS#2 who is 23lbs now and 31 inches long. He is 9m and has 3 more inches to go until he is too tall for the carrier. I cook, do housework, when he is fussy and I cannot put him on the floor to play.
I do not know what I will do when he outgrows the carrier because he will not be walking yet. I tried extending the use of the carrier with DS #1 and ended up ripping it and I had to ask a friend to fix it who had a sewing machine/surger.
What are my options?

Anyone have a Blue Celery Baby Sling? http://www.bluecelery.com/010~Welcome/
I just saw them today and they seem very easy and comfy to wear. For $100 I think they are a rip off (if I could sew I think it would be very easy to make! hint hint Leigh and Zabs).
There is no tying involved which is what makes me unsure of wraps. Of course if I made it out to a baby wearing group I'm sure I could figure it out too!
Anyways, anyone have any reviews?

I know that someone posted recently about buying one of these on another board (CPO) and she seems pleased. I get how they work and yeah they'd be totally easy to make. Basically the design is 2 pouch slings and another slightly smaller pouch that acts as the waist support. All made out of a stretchy Lycra-type material.

Lots Since you like the style of the BB carrier, a Soft Structured Carriers (SSC) or Mei Tais (MT) would be a good choice. There are a lot of selections in both types.
I make MT's, and have a Yamo SSC. You're welcome to try out both.

Kozy Carrier
I was poking around thebabywearer site and came across this neat MT design called a Kozy Carrier. Just wondering if anyone has one that I can try out? I'm not willing to spend $75+ on something that I can't try out first!!! Especially when it's not returnable. Boo on that.
