    Default perennial swap?

I have found over the years that perennials from other gardens do much better than buying from the store (and of course it's cheaper). Anyone have anything they'd like to swap? I require mostly shade plants but could use a few that like the sun for the front. What I could offer are periwinkle and ivy which are great shade groundcovers, and lily of the valley.

Unfortantly I already have what you have to offer.
I do have some perennials to offer though. I don't know what they are called, but they have a purple flower to them and flower about 3 times a summer. They are about a foot high and double to triple every year! They do best in partial sun.
I am looking for some cone flowers (I've heard them called that, but I don't think it is the real name!) or some daisies or black eye susies.

I have a little extra black eyed susies.

I also have lots of Rose Campions(dusty miller family).

    Probably some other stuff too.

Coneflowers...aka Echinacea. Good luck with your search. I have a large, mostly native perennial garden and would love to share some plants, but since my garden is only in its 2nd season I would prefer to wait until next summer... I will have Black/Brown Eyed Susans galore then as they spread really fast. So if you can wait, just let me know.

We have a number of pink rose of sharon, about 2 feet tall, that should really be moved. We put up a fence last summer and there's not enough sun in the corner for them to flower. If anyone is interested let me know.

Jill, if you need hosta and know how to divide it, you are welcome to mine! I am not a gardener and I am overrun with hosta. lol
Please always show kindness in your posts as the person receiving it may need it more than you will ever know.

I have lots of large bearded purple iris if anyone wants any and a little periwinkle. I don't need anything in return.

I don't have much room right now but try to stick to purple flowers if anyone is offering anything.

Hostas are fairly resiliant, you can just use a shovel and cut in half and replant.

My own garden is also only 2 years old, so looking for new plants....

I have both the purple cone flowers and Shasta daisies that I'm willing to give away.
    Also have -
Dwarf Iris - Double blooming - Purple with yellow falls
Tall Bearded Iris - White with Brown Falls
also small quantities of Yellow, Dark Purple (rolling thunder), Orange and Burgundy Tall Bearded.
    Double Tiger Day lilies
    Purple Butterfly Bush
    Chicks and Hens
    Bergenia (sp?)

as well as many other I'd be willing to divide....
I don't need anything in return for the above plants - however if you have an unusual or interesting plant you would like to share send a PM. I am looking for a Tulip Tree, Orange Brugmansia, White Butterfly Bush and a Fern Leaf Peony....

I found that most of my things didn't grow at all.. I guess the off and on cold weather this summer shocked the heck out of them, especially my ever green bush and my veggies. My strawberries, peppers, beans and onions didn't even come up at all. I got lots of green tomato's and some cuc's and thats it.
And my poor hostess...lets not even go there lol
