    Default Homeschooling Playgroups

Are there any Hsing playgroup that anyone knows of in London? We plan to HS in September and I would like to use the summer as an opportunity to allow my kids to make some new friends.

Specifically, I am looking for very informal 'park-like' settings where the kids all meet up to play and interact.

Thanks in advance. It is much appreciated.

Are you part of a Different Drum? Lots of opportunities to meet other HS there.

Ali - my understanding it is a homeschooling one where everyone is invited (homeschoolers and non-homeschoolers). So no worries, you are not an imposter. Besides you have enough friends who hs that we could make you, Maya and Zelda honourary homeschoolers anyways.

Oh, is there? We're often at a loss for things to do on Mondays, as our local library branch is closed that day, as is the Children's Museum (well, when they're not on summer hours, that is)... Maybe we'll stop in at the Gibbons gatherings sometimes.

    Thanks!

Gibbons Park is North of Downtown: off Richmond, right by St. Joe's Hospital, on a little street called Grosvenor. It's really nice.

Ah! I go a fair bit... PM me when you are going as I still have books of yours from last summer! They have been in a bag on the rack by my front door forever...

Oh, good! It'd be good to see you again; it's been too long!

And okay, I'll try to give you the heads up when we plan to go, so my books can stop cluttering up your doorway.

The activity happens on the yahoo group. Do a search for Different Drum on yahoo groups and join and you will have access to current information.
