    Default Insurance

I used a website years ago (late 90's) when I needed car insurance. You typed in all your details and it provided you with the names of three insurance companies that provided the 3 best rates. We just got our invoice to renew our car insurance (due mid July) and I am sure we can do much better. And now we also have to get house insurance added to it.
Anyway, I CAN NOT for the life of me remember the website I used to get the rates.
I was hoping someone on here may have used it and can pass it on to me.
    TIA
    Tracey

I found te best rates were Middlesex Mutual -666-0600 if you are insuring home and car.
Anyone else I 've referred there has agreed.

I had a very bad experience with Middlesex Mutual. I don't want to really go into it on here, but if you'd like to know, I can PM you.

I agree to go with a broker. Or I keep hearing on the radio that belairdirect.com will give you three of their competitor's quotes on their site. That's who we use for our car and tenant's insurance.

Not sure if it's applicable to your situation but if you've graduated from a College or University or have dues through some type of organization through work then try their websites to get links to insurance providers giving special rates to "alumni" or "members".

I did this myself after hubby and I graduated and we saved .... $2867 annually on car and home insurance. Hubby's new vehicle (costing way too much in my opinion beyond the average car sticker) costs us just $654 per year!

Good luck - and don't forget to consider increasing your deductibles since the general majority of folks avoid claims less than $1000 for fear of increasing rates down the road - and the savings over time exceed the unlikely chance you'll ever need to cough up the amounts.

Tracy, I am just seeing this now (I really need to go to bed!) but I will call you tomorrow with the name of the company we use. We have had to use our policy for 3 car accidents so far and one house claim and the company and every single person we have dealt with have been exceptional.

Call me if you don't hear from me... I'm probably just thinking about "school work"!!!
