    Default beer?

    anyone have good luck drinking beer to help increase milk supply? if so what kinds? how often?

    I used to drink Keith's pale ale and it helped a lot. I also ate oatmeal daily too.

    I never tried, but I think it can be any kind. I will have to ask my mom if the hospitals had a set brand they would give to new mothers that were struggling, but she has mentioned that it is just the yeast that can help and more that it is the alcohol that helps relax new moms and allow the milk to flow, similar to hearing a baby cry.

    I think any kind will work... have you had any luck with the mothers milk tea? That helped me when in hospital I drank a LOT of it. It seemed to help!
