    Condoms.
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.

DH had a vasectomy a year ago. He didn't go back for the testing and I was still breastfeeding without an af at the time, but I'm pretty sure if it didn't work we'd have found out by now

    Tubal ligation here.
My mom had two pregnancies (one live birth) after hers though, years later, so I half expect a baby someday
Once I stop secretly hoping for that I will ask my husband to get a vasectomy.

I'm surprised how many vasectomies there are compared to the other forms of B.C. Is a vasectomy pretty affordable? I have an IUD and have been quite happy with that but just had a pap and they couldn't locate the strings so now I have to have that checked out and I wonder if a vasectomy is just easier and affordable enough, especially if there's something wrong with the IUD. (Hopefully the strings just got pulled up into my uterus somehow and it's all fine.)

I'm fairly certain that vasectomies are covered by OHIP.

    I believe it's still free/covered by OHIP. It's the reversal that costs a fortune ($4000+ ?).
