Default Sorry I have been gone

I know it has been forever since I have posted, but life has been way too crazy for my family.

DS1 graduated from college, got a full time job right away, bought his own car, and still lives at home to save to buy his own house

DS2 graduated from high school, enrolled in college (starts in sept), but his biologics failed him again . So he had to start IV Infusions every other week in London. I'm driving to London at least 5-6 times a month now for appointments. His arthritis in his spine has gotten worse and he is now having pain 3/4 off the way up his spine. We are just hoping his spine isn't fused that far up

DD is in grade 10 now, and her arthritis isn't under control either, so we have been referred to pain management in London.

Hubby and I are still together, yah!!! But with all the stress I have, some days I'm surprised lol

As to me, I have been having a lot of lung issues, pneumonia that just wouldn't go away, coughing up phlegm and mucas, shortness of breath, can't climb stairs without having troubles catching my breath, and weird fluttering in my chest. So my doctor did a repeat X-ray to see if my 3rd antibiotic cleared up the pneumonia I had since the end of September 2015. I saw my doctor 6 weeks ago to get my results, and they were not what I was expecting.

I was told I have a "large" hole in my heart, arterial septral defect, probably had it since I was born, and for some reason it is just now started causing problems. I will have to have it repaired, just waiting on my cardiologist appointment, I just had a bunch more tests done, and will know more on Monday.

And that is my life in a nutshell, as if my plate wasn't already overflowing with specialist appointments with my 2 younger kiddos. Also I had surgery July 2015 to repair my rotator cuff in my shoulder and a bunch of other work done in there.

I'm sorry that things have been tough for you guys.

I don't post here often anymore but I lurk and I wonder about those that haven't posted in a while.

Sending good vibes in both your directions.

You really can't catch a break. I hope your cardiologist appointment gave you some answers and all goes well with the repair. Hugs for both your kids, glad your oldest isn't causing any additional stress right now.
