My routine, while DS1 and DS2 are in school, is going to the gym 4 days a week doing 2 Group Ride (spin) classes and 2 Group Power (weight training) classes per week. The classes run from 40-60 minutes led by amazing instructors and great music.

Today, I did Group Ride and it felt great to get back into my routine. I am feeling like I had a great workout.

I have been really intimidated by getting into any high impact exercise yet. I say "yet" but DS is now 14 months and I still haven't. I had diastasis recti (the abdominal separation thing) when I was pregnant with him and learned a lot about pelvic floor health and have been seeing a pelvic floor physio. So basically those are the main types of exercise I've been doing! It's helping though and the ab gap is starting to close so yay! I also take DS for a walk in the evening for about 45 mins. That's it for this week.

This week I did 2 Group Power classes and 2 Group Ride classes. I feel amazing and totally energized!

I also started playing on my Dodgeball team which will be once a week through my work. Surprisingly you get a workout with playing! I stopped playing soccer and now have switched to dodgeball.

    How is everyone's week going?

I was at the cardiologist again last week and I have been given the go ahead to continue with yoga and daily activities as long as I'm feeling okay. It was a real mix of 'don't do anything' but 'don't do nothing' so I was a little confused but am going to be hooked up to the monitor for another two weeks starting next week. So I signed up for indoor soccer but am sharing a spot with a friend that can only do every other week so I am also doing opposite every other weeks with her starting next week and will be doing volleyball again starting in two weeks. I also do yoga Tuesday nights.
I started doing 21 day fix 5 weeks ago. I only do the eating part, shakes, and yoga as I can't do the other workouts or it makes my heart go crazy. I am down 13 pounds (we had a one week holiday in there so didn't really do it, so only 4 weeks realy) of the 20lbs I gained this summer from feeling sorry for myself that I couldn't do many of the activities I enjoy doing because of my heart. So I am back and want to be down 15lbs by Christmas, that is only about a pound a week so very doable if I keep at it.
