what did everyones dr suggest for heart burn?
also, did everyone use rocking chairs to nurse? also, are the cribs that transform into a toddler crib a good idea?

I didn't have heartburn until my third pregnancy. I used tums and stayed away from food that I know caused it. I had a rocker/recliner but I tend to nurse on the couch or in bed during the night. Once they get to about a month I am able to nurse laying down in bed so I do that for night feedings and day feedings are usually just the couch.
We have never converted our crib to a toddler bed because usually it was needed by the next child. Alot come with the conversion though, so you might as well get one.
I had wicked heartburn. I statted with avoiding foods that triggered it, then tums, then gaviscon, then at the end zantac.
I couldn't live without my glider. When I had my firstborn I had a wooden rocking chair and it sucked. We bought a glider and the motion for rocking is so much better. I always rock and nurse my babies to sleep. My husband likes to bounce our baby to sleep on an exercise ball.
I used tums with my first b/c I only got it at the very end. I had such bad heartburn with my second and used tums until second trimester and then started to cut zantac in half when needed. Third baby, thankfully no heartburn.

I sucked back packages of Rolaids with my third pregnancy - it was pretty constant that when I laid down the heartburn would act up.
I didn't use a rocking chair, I nursed wherever and whenever.
I didn't buy a convertible crib we went from a crib to a twin.
definitely tums as they also have calcium in them and are good in pregnancy.
Crib converted to toddler bed worked for us!
Also, we did get a rocker but I preferred to nurse laying down and propped up pillows/couch!
