    Hey mommas!

Anyone a part of momstown? Or any other groups?
i want my little one to meet more kids ( not in school yet) and I would like to meet more moms but not sure if $85 is the way to do it....

she starts soccer in May! Maybe I'll try a city class too but just seeing what you guys do

Honestly I tried it and I wasn't impressed. We tried two of the classes and they weren't very organized and my little one enjoys the free playgroup that the schools offer anyways.

There are a ton of playgroups across the city every day that you can meet tons of moms/kids. I would do that first. I met one of my closest friends at one when our babes were 8 weeks old. They are now 5 and we are still close.

What part of the city are you in? I'm only familiar with South London.
I know there's either an oeyc or similar to it at the building that also houses the Neighbourhood Resource Centre, White Oaks school, and the pool. There's another
that meets in the same building as the Jalna library, one specific to Arabic women and one for everyone, as well as a library group with stories, songs, etc.
Then there's a church up at Jalna and Southdale that does a playgroup certain days....
that's all off the top of my head they're out there.

The libraries have playgroups as well as oeyc on dundas as well as maitland, there are family literacy playgroups at knoll wood and Ealing school. We tend to go to the one at Ealing quite a bit since it's so close they do gym time, stories, songs, free time as well as provide snacks

If you google playgroups oeyc london a calendar will come up with all the ones that are on each day. There are usually 2 different ones each day.
