Default keep going with homo milk or switch back to formula?

I'm not sure what to do with this situation. Ever since my DD turn one, we've decided to get off formula and switch to homo milk. I find that she drinks A LOT of it and with the price of milk higher for homo milk, it seems like she goes through tonnes of it and it's equivalent to buying a can of formula.

She drinks water but doesn't care for juice. I like the convenience of getting milk for her because I could just grab it anywhere if I need it. But I'm concerned if that's enough. She eats a lot of solid foods so I know she has nutrition. I'm just stumped on the fact she drinks at least 4 to 5 bottles of 6 oz milk.

Maybe she likes to drink a lot. I hope it's okay!

I think it's totally up to you. If she's eating solids ok then her milk intake shouldn't be a concern. Seems pretty normal to me.

If she is eating fine, there isn't really a need for formula. I can't give you a good number on milk intake as my 15 month old still nurses when I'm home and has never drunk a huge amount at one time.

Is the only concern the amount she is drinking milk?

When do you give her milk? I know they suggest switching over to having milk with meals and water between. Not that we do that or anything Our little one has water with her meals and likes to drink and will ask for a drink. I think they know when they want water versus milk - like we do too.

She likes milk first thing in the morning, snacks, and one bottle at night. She is home daycare and is given water as well. My doctor says she would get all the nutrients she needs from milk so I guess it should be okay. I'm not a milk drinker myself so IMO it seems like a lot!

I know what you mean as I don't drink milk either. Sounds like similar times that our little one either gets milk or nurses. I think it is still comforting for them to have milk too
