Default How do you eat Swiss chard?

Last time I sauteed it in a bit of oil and with garlic but we don't like it. It's so healthy and we have some in our garden that need to be ate so I am wondering how do others prepare/eat it?

I just fried it up with a whole bunch of other veggies in advocado oil. Then surved like a stir fry.

I cooked it kind of like you did, but with crumbled bacon too. (I figure bacon makes everything better. lol) DH liked it a lot that way, and I could eat it, but none of the kids liked it. We've also had it in salads with other greens when it is younger and more tender.

Thanks for the ideas. I don't know why the thought of eating it is such a turn off to me. It's probably one of the first vegetables I don't wan't to eat, behind radishes that is. Of course it's supposed to be super healthy too. The worse it tastes the healthier it is

You could maybe try making pesto out of it. I quite like kale pesto, even though I wouldn't be a fan of sautéed kale.

Chop it p really fine (like shredded lettuce). Chop up bacon and onion the same size. Fry it all together and it's awesome. I do the exact same with Collard Greens - now, I do like collards better this way, but chard is nice too.

I like it with spinach in a salad with raspberry dressing. Clean it well and remove the tough centre stems. Chop into bite size pieces. I also use it in place of bok choy in stir fry or thai dishes.

throw it in with some pasta sauce. It doesn't matter if it's tomato or alfredo unless you want to hide it from the kids then cut it very fine and put it in tomato.

I quite often substitute the spinach in a dish with swiss chard - it doesn't matter which dish but I particularly like the spinach dip with swiss chard.
