Default Child support, daycare expenses etc etc

So my ex seems to think its terrible that I'm asking for child support and half of daycare expenses. According to our signed but not filed separation agreement he is also supposed to pay extra curriculars like sports and such but I havent got that and am giving up on asking. I'm really trying to stay out of the courts for this because I can't afford it!!! But it is looking like it may go that way. I need advice. Experience stories. Anything that makes his terrible feeling in my stomach go away. Why on earth do men try and screw over there kids??? Argh I could scream.

All you have to do is file your signed separation agreementwith courts . You do not have to see a judge, then you can file with FRO to get what you agreed upon. Good luck

If you already have a signed agreement you can file it with FRO and let them harass him

Thanks all. Looks like I"m going to have to file. Now our initial separation agreement has a claus that come September we will be re-evealuating child support should I wait until that amendment is signed or can I file the initial seperation agreement and then file the amendement. I guess I should go to the court house and talk to someone about it all.

unless his income changes there is no need to reevaluate support except once a year when he gives you his tax papers.

I have not received tax papers yet and I'm pretty safe to assume he hasnt done his taxes. Our separation agreement states that he will pay daycare from date of signed separation agreement until September when daycare becomes a very low price (it's only before and after care) so yes in our agreement come September we are amending the support to include child support to me and half of the daycare expenses.

Make sure you do it, I didn't get that clause put in my order and my kids dad never paid for anything, no day care, no extra carriculars and no dental. I didn't have the time to go back to court and I just didn't want to have more of a fight. Looking back I wish I had enforced it.
