I had one a few years ago and it was fun. It's called a jewelry swish.

Basically everybody went through their jewelry boxes and closets... brought out all of their unused jewelry tossed it on my tables... and went home with someones unwanted pieces.

There were rules about what you could bring, like at a normal swish, and they were along the lines of: had to be in "like new" condition and very wearable. You couldn't bring crap - just nice things that you didn't necessarily wear any more. We did necklaces, bracelets, scarves, purses, wallets. No earrings (nothing that went in someone else's body). There was no charge, basically if you brought 8 items you could pick 8 others. If something didn't get chosen then I either donated it to a daycare or to a thrift shop.

I serve hot and cold tea. I can't bake.
