    Default physical therapy recommondations?

Dd is 19 months old and still not walking. She doesn't even like to stand. She has low muscle tone in her legs. It has been suggested that she have some physical therapy to help her and I think she would benefit from it. She also has some GI issues which could be related to low muscle tone.

So I am wondering if anyone has a recommondation as to where to go. I am currently doing my placement at Thames Valley Children's Centre and I know they do it there but have a wait list so I am looking for other suggestions as to where to go. We have some benefits coverage but I want someone who has expereince with young children. I just want to have some ideas so I can get a referral from my doctor if needed.

    Thank you.

I'd call Reactive physio and see if they can direct you. I know Jackie there does teach at the University here in London. She'd know if she herself can't help you. Reactive Physiotherapy

DS2 is being seen at the Thames Valley Children's Centre and we didn't have to wait very long for an appointment. I would maybe call and get put on the wait list while you are looking at other options. It doesn't hurt to have your name on it and to cancel if you find somewhere else but at least in the meantime you are holding a spot to have her looked at.

I was thinking of doing that. Since I am doing my work placement there and in That department I have talked to them about it. I have been very impressed with the staff there. I was given the referral form from them today. I just need a doctor to sign it.
