Default GF banana oatmeal cookies - no sugar

You could add honey if you wanted but I don't think they need it at all. Dates in place of raisins would be good too. I double it and don't always put anything in where it calls for raisins.

    2 bananas mashed
1/4 cup butter. I use coconut oil and put in less, about 3 TBSP
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 cups oatmeal
    1 cup rasins.

bake at 350 for 20 mins.
It's a favourite here. I might have shared before but though I would re-post for people who may like it. Great for people trying to eat healthier but love girthy foods.

It's a recipe that came with our vita mix. You don't need vita mix for them. They do have you mix the eggs, bananas and half the oatmeal in it, so you could grind up half the oatmeal up in a coffee grinder, bullet/etc. Just makes it more like flour consistency.

I'll post the same recipe here for the people like me who are getting the black bar through the screen and can't see it in first post.

All my kids and DH love them and they can also be used as a quick out the door breakfast food too.

Thanks for this. I had a similar recipe that used baby oatmeal, (my youngest refused baby food, so I was trying to use what I had in different ways that he would eat) and have been trying to modify it for regular oatmeal. I will have to try this version.
