Please give me ideas to stop this he is killing me. I have tried passing him of to DH but that just makes him more upset.

My DD will do similar. I unlatch her with the soother and quickly stick it in. Works like a charm.

Last night shortly after posting he started coughing I am hoping that is the reason and hopefully this phase won't last long. I am going to try your technique though and see if that works.

Maybe it's a 6 month thing? If I remember correctly I think your DS is around 6 months planjane? DS has been feeding way more the last few weeks and waking up at night a few times, which he wasn't before.

It won't last forever. It sucks, but they go through phases like this. Depending on how old he is, you can try to do some things to cure his restlessness. a warm bath, some calming tea etc... you'll know whats best for calming your baby.

I'm not into introducing food too early, but, again depending on age is it possible he's ready to start solids?

Mine does this too. She's 2 weeks old and I'm her soother.. lol. I've pretty much given up on trying to get her off me and caved to letting her sleep in our bed despite the fact that her bed would be a much better option (for me). But she's super young still too..

When I was breastfeeding my littlest, I found a lot of support through the local La Leche League group. Find a LLLC Group in Ontario | La Leche League Canada: Mother-to-Mother Breastfeeding Support and Information

And there are also the Well Baby/Breastfeeding Clinics every day of the week somewhere in London! https://www.healthunit.com/well-baby...eeding-clinics

He is 4 months, I think we have figured out that it is more because he isn't feeling well or is a little off, the only problem is it is usually an upset tummy and that just makes it worse. We started trying to settle him with the I love you massage.
