Default Odd socks and old clothes?

I have a ton of odd socks. All random sizes, what are some good crafts I can do with them? Also with all my old clothes (I sell J's) what are some things I could do with them as well? I know there's t-shirt quilts and sock-puppets but I'd like some other ideas as well. I'm purging today and getting rid of a lot of clothes.

I've been thinking about what to do with the MANY odd socks I have as well.
I'm not into puppets - but would love to give them to someone who will use them instead of just thowing them away.

My LO is a boy so barbie clothes is out of the question for now. lol He's into cars. He honestly doesn't want to play with anything other than cars, I have two rubbermaid totes filled with all sorts of toys and he barely touches them!

This isn't a craft but depending on the sock. Odd socks make great dusters for cleaning.

Watching this thread. I have a large leaf bag full of odd socks from baby sizes up to adults that I found all over our house when we moved.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one with a collection of odd socks. It drives me crazy! How does that happen?

with wool socks you can make anti static dryer balls and then add some essential oils if you want some scent. A Back To Basics Lifestyle: No-Cost Dryer Balls

i havent tried this yet, but it has me intrigued.

For your old t-shirts, you can easily make them into art smocks for your kids.

Do you have wool? I have always wanted to make these, but only have one sweater so it would be all one colour. If anyone wants to trade some old wool clothes let me know! I have an olive green colour Bella Dia: Advent Day 22: The Shortest Day and miniature felted wool wreaths
