Default wait times at the Fertility Clinic @ LHSC

Anyone know what the wait times are like at this clinic? my Doctor sent a referral 3wks ago and still no word of a appointment time. Didn't think it would take this long to hear back with an appointment time. Is this the pace for this clinic?

I went to SOFT but from what I have heard from a couple of friends that went there they do move at a slower pace then the private fertility clinics that are not at the hospital.

I used to see Dr. Hollet-Caines there. She was fantastic. I would say that I only waited 10 minutes at the MOST for any appointment. It took me about a month for the referral.

And I still haven't heard from them. My doctor sent the referral on june 27. Should I call them or would you just wait it out?

I would call them. The receptionist is quite nice and can give you info.

Things might be a bit slower bc of it being summer-time but if you want/hope for agressive treatment, I would try one of the other private clinics in the city before the hospital one. You get the same OHIP coverage at the private ones as you do at the hospital and many people don't realize that.

Usually 4-8 weeks waiting time depending on how busy! That is where I went with my daughter. Not a great experience, but I did conceive!
