    Default Surprise! TWINS!

Just went for a dating ultrasound today and was shocked with twins! I don't know a thing about twins. Are there any good resources to help me--like a what to expect when you're expecting 2? I've already been to the LMBA site.

Congratulations!! I have twin girlies, they are almost 3 now. My best resource was to seek out other twin moms and attend twin playgroups.

LOL, I guess you REALLY need a bigger vehicle now

If you decide to go up to a 12 pass, the Nissan NV has 5 top tethers, 3 full sets of latch.

^^The first thing DH said when he saw the ultrasound pics was, “WHAT?!? We can't even find a van to fit 4 carseats. What are we going to get to fit 5?!?!“

    Any ideas ABINTO?

If you wanna stay out of like the Sprinters/Nissan nvs (eg the 4 row passanger vans)...

Maybe an 8 passenger odyssey, but you'll need to get 3 across the middle row (probably will require some new car seats too).

You could also go large suv... maybe a Toyota Sequioa (they also have 5 top tethers).

Do you plan on having any kids after these 2? If so I'd get a 12 pass.

What do you plan on doing with strollers? Do you have a dog? Tow things?

You're going to have FIVE kids under five! Whoa!

    Congrats!!
Stop thinking youre not ready. Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we wont feel totally comfortable at first.
