Default Old South get together at the Village Pub?

Just wanting to know if anyone is interested who lives in the Old South area, wants to get together again for our annual summer patio night? Old South Village Pub is located on Wortley Road between Bruce Street and Craig/Askin Street.

There are quite a few of us here on LM's who live and have our kids in Old South daycares/preschools/Public or Catholic schools. This would be nice way to meet up again and have new Old South LM's have a chance to get to know us that are in Old South.

Does a Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs evening work better than a Friday night? I know it is cooler now, but hopefully by the end of May it will be warm enough to sit outside on the heated patio.

I'd love to come out. I'm pretty flexible as to the night we choose. Could we meet after the kids go to bed? (Maybe 9 p.m.) or after work and before dinner? (5 or 6 ish?) An outdoor patio sounds fun!

Usually we have met up in the past at 7:30pm so people have time to walk home or get home at a reasonable time. Patio time is also nice at that time too as the sun is still out.

Imagine, does that work for you?

I have gotten a couple of PM's too so there is some interest.

I will make a poll to soon to see which evening works best.

I'm not quite in Old South but it's not far from me. Sounds like fun.

Yes, I can make it after 7:30 p.m. with enough warning. I like to be home for my son's bedtime, but my husband doesn't mind taking charge of bedtime on his own when needed. Early evening on the patio sounds lovely.

I will open it up to non-Old South LM's so that they are able to get to know what an awesome pub we have.

Old South Village Pub is Wortley Village/Old South local watering hole aka Village Pub that most are able to have a drink and then walk home. 2 years ago, I believe we had 8 or 9 LM's out on the patio. The patio is smaller so 16 would be the largest table size they would be able to accomodate.

But I will have to cap it at 15 and Old South LM's and LM's who live outside Old South but have kids in school/nursery school/daycares in Old South get first crack.

Findabhair and HEA, I am sure you will be able to come out as you are #1 and #2 on the list for non-Old South LM's.

I will be doing a poll early next week so keep your eyes open for that.

Hey, if non-Old South LM's can come - put me on the list. Tuesdays and Fridays work well for me.

The Village Pub is on the other side of the road from The Roadhouse.
