Where to buy/find a typewriter ribbon?

I picked up a manual typewriter the other day for my kids to play around with, does anyone have typewriter ribbon laying around their house or know where I could buy a spool?

I'd check ebay. first google the make/model to find out what kind of ribbon you need, then look on ebay. you'll probably find it quite a bit cheaper than a store - you could always check staples though too to see how much they run.
