If you happen to be in the south west of London, I do have a few boxes in our basement that I would LOVE to be rid of, not a huge lot but if you're close enough it might be worth the stop by.

Grocery stores. When I was moving I went to No Frills first thing in the morning, and had my pick of all the boxes, big and small

Most liquor stores are not saving boxes anymore as they have their own box compacters on site now and are converting over to save space. (just to save you some time... ) Id call ahead of time.

What about walmart... I bet if you call them and they just got a shipment they would hold them for you... worth a try I know the one in Argyle is open 24 hrs and get shipments later at night I think.

I see people posting for them on Freecycle all the time. I think that might be your best bet for for proper packing boxes.

McDonalds has a wide range of sized boxes... the Fries boxes are the best to pack with. we have a ton of people who come in and ask us to put them aside. They maybe able to not break them down for you, so they are re-inforced on the bottom!

You can go to the Brick and there is a huge bin in the back that only holds cardboard and help yourself....

Amanda, I have a favour to ask of you. Could you please put on hold any sturdy boxes that you have at work?

You can buy used boxes of many differnet sizes at a place on Cabell street. 820 Cabell I think it is. There is a sign that says to ring the bell because of dog and something about boxes. They are not free but if you need about 20 good size boxes (they are about .50 to .75 each) about $10 to $15. I think that I went back about 4 times when we moved.
