    Default Activities 12-18M

    Hey all,

I am having a VERY hard time finding weekend or early weeknight activities for my little one that are for ages 12-18M (not 18 months plus.. DD is only 14 months).

We do swimming lessons, and I know the Little Gym offers programs, but I am wondering what else is out there that is available to working moms!

She has daycare during the day, so gets socialization, etc. but just want to do something different until the weather gets nicer!

Have a look through the spectrum, I found tons in there. Dance, music, gymnastics, swimming, art. There's a ton. And they're usually easy on the wallet too and convenient times. Good luck!

The Ontario Early Years Centres have a great playroom that is open on Saturday on Maitland...lots of great toys, crafts and a Toy Library where you can borrow toys and puzzles for a period of 2 weeks. And it's free! (Except a toy library membership is $25 I think).

Thanks, I did check Spectrum but couldn't find anything for her age group - they were all 2Y plus, or daytime for babies.

Do you recall anything specific from years past? Maybe someone else is offering it...

I've heard good things. But DD is only 14 months so I'm still without luck

hopefloats - I had come across Kindermusic before but they are only daytime classes for my daughter's age (and I am back at work).

ajsmom - I've been to some their playgroups, thanks! I was looking for something more structured as she gets lots of playtime at daycare. But it's a great resource for others interested!

I'm thinking the four months makes all the difference...I found tons for DD but she will be 18 months at the time of start.so was able to enrol. I'll keep my eye out!
