    Default mommy/daughter date ideas

DH and DS are going to yet another hockey game tomorrow night, and I want to do something special with my little lady. We've done manis, pedis, movies (out and at home) - the typical mommy daughter 'things'. I'm looking for something a little different. She's 5 years old and is super artsy/crafty, loves make up and girly things, singing, dancing, etc.
Spam with your ideas - anything and everything, please!
    TIA!

Ooh, fun! L got a Knight's jersey for Christmas and we were planning to take him to a game. (for some reason he's got it in his head that he's going to be a hockey playing policeman when he grows up...hmmmm) We're going to stop in tomorrow when we are in London and see if they have tickets left for tomorrow's game. Maybe we'll see them there.

Mommy/dtr ideas. Ok. Hmm. I was going to suggest pedis but you've done that already. Next was a movie. What about getting all dolled up and having dinner out at the Beanery or something and then letting her choose what to do next (movie or go to a favourite store or whatever)??

What about Build a Bear? Or the Children's Museum, especially since it's free on Fridays from 5-8.

There's also a little chocolatiere/restaurant in Byron that has the most amazing fondue.

Dh and I went last year for Valentines. They have this dessert for two fondue that I bet she'd LOVE! It was reasonably priced as well.

High Tea at the Mad Hatters Tea House? I think I saw that on groupon or dealfind (or another website like that) recently.

I don' think so...other than Pinecroft. That would be her dream! I will drive, though, if I can find somewhere...

Thanks for the ideas so far!

I was going to say Forrat's also! We did a MNo there and it was awesome. I really want to take my girls some day for a mom-daughter date.

In the summer time I took DD for tea, sandwiches and dessert in Statford. We will be going back again in a couple of weeks because we both loved it. Harry Ten Shilling - Home

I was also going to suggest afternoon tea. My older DD and I love doing that.

Take it from me though, GO TO STRATFORD!! sooooooo nice. Expensive, but well worth it. I have also been to Mad Hatters and it was a joke! Seriously a waste of time!!!

My DD and I also like to go shopping. We will go to Starbucks and then browse at Chapters. When my DD talks about some of her favourite memories with me, one of those days was a day we shopped allday with a $35 prepaid visa she was gifted. I had her look in all the stores before she decided what to spend her visa on. It was fun.

Sometimes we will do something little like McDonalds, just she and I. Feels special because its her pick, and just the two of us.

What about a cooking class at the market?
Formerly "lila's mum" but I had outgrown that name, now that I have 3 beauties.
