Default A family friend lost her grand daughter, what to do?

A family friend lost her first grandchild (grand daughter) as she was born at 22 weeks last week and only survivied a few hours.
I've seen pictures. She was beautiful.
The family is doing well given the unfortanate circumstances, but I wanted to give her something. More of a memory type thing then a meal as I feel I'm a bit late on that.
I had thought maybe an ornament with her name and birthdate on it, but I don't know if that is appropriate.
Can someone that has been in that situation give me an idea?

My nieces (twins) passed away (will be 19 years this Dec) for their 16th bday I got a little rock engraved with their names on it for my sister. She loved it!

A little angel with her name and birth date would be perfect. I have a little angel ornament for our tree with our baby's name on it that we lost and I treasure it.

I agree with a tree ornament that way they can hang it up every year. I would avoid glass though as it would be heart breaking to break it.

How sad. When my friend lost her baby at birth, I used the fabric I bought for a quilt to make a wall hanging.
