    Default Travel Insurance

We leave for Disney on Thursday and need travel insurance. Who do you recommend getting travel insurance from?

I was going to suggest your bank as well. That's what we did when we went to Disney. We were able to easily purchase it online.

I have used Blue Cross and actually had to use them twice. Customer service and everything was fantastic! On day 2 of our trip DS1 broke his wrist, I called from the waiting room of the hospital and had no problem getting full coverage, never paid a cent. And then on day 7 DS4 cut his forehead open needing 3 stitches and again never put out a cent, no questions asked. We did see both bills and it would have been about $5000. We paid $86 for 6 of us for 9 days in the states.
We have also used co-operators travel insurance, but never actually had to use them.

We've gone with PC in the past, because it's easy. Never had an issue that required any contact though.

Do you have any through work? We stopped getting it at the bank because it's included on my benefits.

This, before you buy any extra make sure you aren't already covered. Some premium credit cards include it in the annual fee as well.

My DH has medical travel insurance through work but we still needed trip cancellation, so I went with Johnson Insurance. Since I am a Fanshawe College Alumni, I got a discount on it with them.
