What other craft stores are there here in London besides Michael's?

Len Mills for general crafts, and Fabric Land for textile type crafts. Walmart has some craft supplies.

Lens Mills, Murcury Art, Thread and Eye, DR Discount and Wholesale, Senior Craft Store, Artistry In Glass (and about 4 other stained glass supply stores) - there is also easily a dozen or more scrapbooking stores....

There is always Dollarama depending on what your looking for - I find all kinds of craft stuff there.

I think I saw some of those at Michael's (Richmond). They weren't right for what I wanted them for though. I sometimes find that the things at Michael's are already half-made crafts, when I want to make something from scratch on my own, I can't find the basic materials needed.

I know what you mean! I'll check it out for the flat marbles, thanks!

Try Home Depot or another home renovation type store. They have lots of small square glass tiles for backsplashes etc..

Or one of the stained glass studios - you may be able to even find one who would be willing to make you what you need.

I would suggest the same for tiles.

Thanks, but HD tiles won't work for what I need them for, and too pricey to have them made. It would sort of be defeating the purpose. But thanks anyway!
