    Default Embroydery Machines

I'm thinking about purchasing a embroydery machine. So tell me which ones are good? I want it to have the USB option for sure.

I have the brother 400 SE and I love it. It is both a sewing machine and an embroidery machine.

I did purchase off ebay a ped basic along with a card. This allows me to download patterns I buy or free ones from the internet.

I have had it for two years and love it. It hasn't given me any issues except for now. I think the kids dicked around with the carriage and now it won't work so off the the shop it goes this week.

I bought it in the states from Walmart for 349.99. I haven't seen one up here at all.

if you go to an anctual sewing machien store i know of 3 wonderland south of springbank, oxford and gamage, wellington across from white oaksmall.

most of the stores will let you try before you buy.
nothing will tell you what YOU like better until you can play
some of them even offer classes on "how to use you new machien"

I would strongly suggest going to the CreativFestival in Toronto - all of the sewing machine companies bring every single model they make and you can play with all of them. Plus, if you buy there, you get a fantastic deal as well. That's where my Mom found her machine. Here's the website for the Festival: http://www.csnf.com/

I think that she has a Janome, but she mentioned that she liked the Huquavarna as well.

I am pretty sure that all of the sewing machine companies in London (except for the one in Wortley) are owned by the same company.

There is a store up in arva (just up the hill, richmond st N) and they sell Bernina machines. Cotton-By-Post. Staff are super helpful, machines are out on display and ready to try them out, etc etc.
