All three backpacks held up just fine and all three lunch boxes as well (I think anyway there is one temporarily missing)
1 was a Roots, the other two backpacks were UFC, all from Staples. Two thermos brand lunchboxes and one nice lunchbox from Loblaws all lasted through.

I wash by hand and hang to dry though - in previous years we have destroyed more than one lunchbox with the washing machine.

Now, everyone has a good backpack and lunchbox for camp.

Backpack was a random weird one we got as a gift. I hated it -- freaking thing won't die.

Lunchpail was from the gap. It's in perfect shape.

Its funny, our cheap backpacks are still fine but the lunch bags, which were Lands End, are toast.

Both lasted. DD's backpack is from The Gap, DS's was from Wal-Mart - Swiss something or other, I think. They both still look brand new. We got new lunch bags from Costco a couple of months ago - Roots - and have been REALLY happy with them.

I voted that they lasted, however I can see the ground through the bottom, its very very thin now and the lunch bags are still good to go!

Thankfully though, I don't have to make any lunches for 2 months!!

DD1 has a Children's Place back pack that she has had since JK and she is now finishing Gr 2. It is still going strong after 4 years. DD2 has a backpack from Bentley and it is still going strong as well and she is finishing Gr 1 this year so hers has lasted 3 years.

Lunch pails lasted the year but I am going to throw them out on Thursday because they are getting a little gross!

DD1 has a Roots bag from costco and a balanced day lunch bag, both lasted but need a bath. They are dirty from the bus floor. I was impressed because I bought a balanced day lunch bag last year and it was toast by Christmas.

DD2 got both her lunch bag and bag at clairs from the 75% off rack and they both lasted and are in great shape too.

I'm hoping both girls still like their stuff because I'm not going to buy new this fall when everything is still in great shape.

Ours was 14 dollars at wal mart, and is still in brand new condition. If Markus wanted to use it for grade 2, I would be more than happy to let him. But he said toy story is too little kid.

I would give it to Nolan, but its his first year of school, so Im going to let him pick his own.

ds's lunch bag was ten bucks at Canadian tire i think it was, and it's fine, although i snipped off a strap that was somehow jammed so it couldn't adjust anymore.

Backpack is just fine, used for gr1, 2 and 3. I think I'll get him a new one for next year if he wants to. It was $20 at walmart.

Backpack and one lunch pail lasted. Both were just Target brand. The zipper pull fell off the other lunch pail about March.
