    Default meal plans

ok i hate going back and forth. But i need some help!

    please and thanks

we are stay at the POP for 8 days 7 nights.
And for the meal plan. We got the 1 sit down meal and 1 fast meal. It was almost an extra $1000 for that. Im just wondering if it would be better to take it off and bring Cash for food. If i do that, how much 4 do you think we would need for food? would it be about $1000??

im trying to cut down on costs. we need to save money for the airline tickets! and i want to get those asap

When are you going? My best advice is that if you can be flexibnle on the “when“: then go during a FREE dinning time. The dinning plan is sooooo worth it. I would even pay for it though to be honest. The meals (especially the character ones make the trip I found.

we had the free dining But had just the quick service. I paid extra for our 2 character meals. which in the end cost us about the same but we got 2 snacks perday per person instead of 1. Which was a lot and we used them to bring home souveniers. ( sp? my brain isnt' functioning) Plus we liked not having to stick to a schedule!

I also second going when they have free dining plan. Even if you couldn't if the meal plan was costing you $1000 for all of you that is still worth it.

If you go to any of the character meals they alone will cost you $100.

yes im looking at the prices for sept 1-8th. i can get teh same amount of days that i planed for $1868.70 and that is with the free meal plan. and still staying at the POP.

if i change it, i would only have to pay less then $700 so it sounds way better to do it this way. if i dont change it i still have to pay about $1800.

change it for sure if you can. It really is worth it for the free meal plan. Did that include the upgraded meal plan? I know pop does not include any sit downs unless yuou upgrade. We did the upgrade because it did not cost much more and gave us lots of character meals

We have always gone with free dinning. It saved us 1100-1300 per trip.

That was for dh and I and dd1. Dd2 ds were under 3.

I think if your kids are good eaters and under 10 (or if you have an under 3 who would be free) then the dining plans are a good thing to do. If you have small eaters who are in the 10 & up group, you'd save money by not having the meal plan and splitting meals between the kids. I personally LOVE the mealplans but if my kids are still super picky and eat next to nothing by the time DS is 10, we'd skip the mealplan. Right now, they easily split one meal and there's still lots left. I'm not looking forward to paying for a mealplan for DD in January...she barely takes a bite at a meal, but it's still worth it for the rest of us.

    thanks so much!

i was thinking of upgrading the free plan but we were thinking that we wont now! We just want to go to the t-rex and we have the coupons for that one! I think the 2 quick meals and 1 snack should be good. were going to get one of those food places that we can order from. For breakfast and some snacks, drinks!

just waiting for Ryan to let me know what week we can go. needs to take it off at work
