    Default Endo

I've been dealing with endo for years and I just came off a treatment of Lupron which pretty much puts you in menopause and then after 3 months came off of it and since then I've been virtually pain free....one daya month I'll have to take meds but even then the meds actually work (before they would lessen the pain but it would still be unbearable).

So instead of doing more treatments because we're short on cash for the next couple months I've been researching and started a more natural approach and just wondering if anyone else has done this approach and have any tips...so far I've...

    - started accupuncture
    - contemplating seeing a naturopath doctor
    - thinking about massage and/or osteopath
    - limited caffeine to 2 cups a day
    - limiting red meat
    - decreasing dairy products
    - prenatal vitamins
    - contemplating preseed
    - taking ginseng supplement as well as primrose
    - drinking ginger and chamomile tea
    - increasing my diet in fruit
    - increasing my diet in vegetables espescially to the green ones
    - switching some of my veggies to organic

Thanks for any experiences or advice!

I upped my Omega-3 and eat more oatmeal. Oatmeal and evening Primrose have similar properties and both work really well in taking away inflammation and pain.
I notice a huge difference when I limited my caffeine, red meats, and ate flax seed/salmon, and more oatmeal.
I don't suggest changing everyone at once, it's REALLY hard, I mean SUPER hard. At least for me anyways
I started with upping the Omega-3 intake. Then I worked on cutting down caffeine, then I added oatmeal, and now I only eat fish, chicken, and sometimes pork.

It looks like you are making some great changes. I would also follow a good detoxification protocol. I always believe people should detox before replenishing. Best of luck. You can control this naturally with time, persistence, and commitment.

I agree with the Omega-3. I started eating 2 Tbsp of chia seeds in the morning (just in my mouth, washed it down/swished with water or juice). It's wierd at first eating a mouthful of seeds, but it's more than my fish oil supplements, more fiber & cheaper as well.
