    Default My Little Easter project....

So I went to the store to get a couple dollars worth of sprinkles to make some cookies or cupcakes for my dd's class tomorrow. I came home with $25 worth of supplies to make these instead... (I am in so much trouble when dh gets home )

That's so cool. When I was a kid that's what we did every year for easter. I wish I had held onto all the molds.

The mold wasn't too bad.. only a couple dollars.. it was everything else thatadded up - lol. And now I have enough supplies to make at least 2 dozen more... but no use for them *sigh* Guess I will pack the stuff away and can always use the chocolate later with a different mold.

I LOVE them!! This is the type of crafty stuff I can handle, mostly because it involves chocolate. I wish my kids "got" things like Easter!

I got most of my supplies at the Bulk Barn. You buy the meltable chocolate in whatever colour you want. You will also need a mold... some sucker sticks ... and I use a make a mold bottle thing for melting my main colour as well (makes filling things in easier. Then you melt the colours that you need to use. You paint the mold first with various coloured melted chocolate (ie I did the ears, bow, basket and eyes). Then you fill it in with the main colour (oh and have the stick in there at this time to. Thenlet them set... and presto!!! It is easy.. just time consuming ... and a bit pricey. Well I should say pricey if you are like me and buy too many supplies for what you need - lol. Too bad the mom-to-mom sale is after easter or I would have made the rest up to sell at the bake table - lol.

Thanks for all the kind words. They really are simple.. but I thought they were super cute
