    It is just a file. So sort of the same as if you were emailing a picture or a document. You do not lose the book. You are just sharing it. It is like sending a copy.

    The way I do it is to download all my books into a folder I created titled Kobo books. You could make yours whatever. Just under documents or whatever. Then when I want to put them on my kobo I open that folder, plug in my kobo and open the folder for it. Then drag and drop from one folder to the other. Easy peasy
