Default anyone have temp meal supp. smoothie

recipes? My son had a dental implant put in yesterday and is having a real hard time eating and lots of pain. The pain should be better within a few days but he is STARVING. I whipped him up a fruit/peanut butter smoothie tonight but I am sure that will get old lol (same with the oatmeal/soup). We will try anything and he is not to picky. As long as it is filling and has vits/protein we are game to try! thanks

If he eats fruit, use frozen fruit, yoghurt and even a scoop of ice cream. Ds was uncomfortable for a few days and I couldn't get even smoothies into him. But he did like vanilla milkshakes from McDonalds...lol.

Tonight I just used what we had on hand. Fresh strawberries, pineapple, banana's, ice cream and a few scoops of peanut butter. He said out of all the smoothies I have ever made that was the best one! lol. Hopefully it was thick enough to get him through the night.

What about a green smoothie? With spinach and stuff? Or a fruit smoothie made with greek yogurt and hemp hearts? Lots of protein and vitamins.

What about greek yogurt? it' has lots of protein and is fatty so it would fill him up. You can buy flavored ones but you could also blend up fruits on your own to add to avoid sugar.

what about rice pudding? Maybe you'd have to blend it up?

I haven't made this yet but my sister raves about an avocado pudding she made. ...

Banana Avocado Pudding! Delicious Raw Vegan Recipe

    BANANA-AVOCADO PUDDING
This is a thick, rich, creamy, smooth treat! It's perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack. This pudding is a great baby food, and kids of all ages will love it! This recipe contains 250-350 calories (depending on your using 1 or 2 bananas). You'll need:

1-2 bananas (riper will make a sweeter pudding)

    1/2 avocado

1-2 teaspoons raw cacao or cocoa powder, optional

Place both (if you're making this “chocolatey“ add the cacao/cocoa powder too) in your blender/food processor, and blend until smooth (mash with a fork in a bowl if you don't have a blender/food processor--no biggie. It may not be as smooth, but will still taste magnificent). Pour the pudding into a bowl or cup, and devour. This is best eaten immediately. This raw vegan recipe is sooo yummy!

You could get chia seeds, let them get into a gel (by soaking in water)and add them to anything to make them have more nutritional benefits.
