    Default Yarn Yarn YARN!!!

Where can I donate yarn? I have a ball of this, three of that, leftover ends, all from blankets and other projects and I most likely won't be using it for one reason or another.
Any idea where I can donate the yarn?

I envy you! I am completely unable to part with any of my stash, because I “might“ need it one day. I'm a yarn addict & hoarder.

I would bring it over to the Alice Saddy Association. They support artistic achievement for people with disabilities... and they have a morning breakfast knitting group. I'm sure that they would love your donation.

One of the high schools is starting a knitting club and looking for donations. They don't have it posted right now in First Class though -otherwise I'd give you more details.

I just went to the first meeting of a knitting group today. We are using the book, “Knitting for Peace“ for inspiration and we will be meeting every Saturday from now until Easter and then probably once or twice a month after that. We are all knitting a variety of 8“ squares that will be stitched into afghans to donate. I will be starting a group at my school, too, to make some squares. We would love any donations of wool.
