Mama's Got Swag Review and Giveaway Rules

Mama's Got Swag is here to introduce you to great products and services that we love. We sample products for every aspect of a Mama's life from maternity to infant to childhood and up, as well as many awesome things that have nothing to do with being a Mama and everything to do with just being you.

We don't want to keep all of these wonderful treats to ourselves though, we do like to share! Every review will be accompanied by a giveaway!

At the end of each review, instructions will be given as to how to enter the contest to win the giveaway item(s) or service(s). The entry options will be as follows:

1. An email entry sent to an @londonmoms.ca email address. Email entries will need to include a valid LondonMom.ca username and your full name. The entries may or may not also include an answer to a question. Without these items of information, your entry will be invalid.

The email addresses of the contest entrants will not be used for anything other than contacting the winner of the contest (or in other words, neither LondonMoms.ca nor the business reviewed will be contacting you just because you entered the contest!). Email addresses will not be shared with anyone UNLESS YOU ARE THE WINNER in which case it is sometimes necessary to pass on your email address to the reviewed company so that they can contact you about claiming your prize.

Emailed contest entries will be deleted after the winner is contacted.

2. Facebook entry on the LondonMoms.ca Facebook page. You must LIKE the official LondonMoms.ca Facebook page AND comment on the wall regarding the giveaway. You may or may not also be required to answer a question in your wall post.

For member confidentiality, you do NOT need to post your LondonMoms.ca username on the Facebook wall as that would attach it to your full name (assuming you are on Facebook as you). In the case that you are the winner based on your Facebook entry, you will be told who to contact on LondonMoms.ca to claim your prize. To claim your prize, you must have a valid LondonMoms.ca username at the time of entry in the contest.

3. Facebook entry on the company's Facebook page. You must LIKE the official company's Facebook page (as linked) AND comment on the wall regarding the giveaway. You may or may not also be required to answer a question in your wall post.

4. Commenting on a Mama's Got Swag review thread. Occasionally, you will have another method of entry which involves posting on a specified thread in the forum. It will be stated whether you can have unlimited posts on that thread to increase your chances of winning or if you can only post once in that thread.


* There may be all or only one of the above methods of entry for any given contest
* It is not necessary to enter the contests in all of the ways listed
* You may enter the contest ONCE in EACH of the methods outlined on any given review (unless specified regarding posts on a review thread)
* If there are 3 ways to enter (as listed in 1, 2, 3 above), you may enter 1 way, 2 ways or 3 ways for a maximum of 3 different entries into the contest
* Members who do not have a Facebook account may still enter the contest via email


WINNING a Mama's Got Swag Contest

On every review there will be a contest closing date. Any email, FB comment or thread post timestamped after that date and time will not be included in the contest. If no specific time is mentioned, the closing time will be 11:59pm on that date.

Winner's will be selected randomly using random.org.

The winner will be announced on Facebook, on the Mama's Got Swag thread in the Contest section of the forum, and on the review thread in the Products and Services section of the forum. If the winning entry was an email entry, they will be contacted via email to let them know of their win.

If the winning entry is an email or forum post, then the winner will be announced using their USERNAME. If the winning entry is a Facebook wall post, then the winner will be announced using their FACEBOOK NAME. You are under no obligation to respond to your winning announcement publicly in anyway that will identify you in ways that you do not wish to be identified (i.e. if your username is posted on FB, you do not need to say THANKS! on FB using your FB name and vice versa with your real name on the site).

If you win a giveaway, you must respond to the person posting the review/giveaway within THREE DAYS to claim your prize. If you do not respond within THREE DAYS (72 hours), we will select a new winner who will receive the prize.

It is often necessary to provide the reviewed company and/or LondonMoms.ca with your email address and/or mailing address to claim your prize.

In some circumstances, the company will have provided Mama's Got Swag with the prize in advance and the prize will need to be picked up within London by the winner.
