    I don't think FRO can do anything unless they are notified by him and until then his arrears just keep adding up. If he does get a change to the amount (via the courts?). then the amount he would be required to pay would be changed at FRO, but he'd still have the arrears. Its not back dated.

    Is his paychecks garnished by FRO? If so I would contact FRO to let them know he is going on EI, so they can send the proper paperwork to EI to garnish his EI checks.

    Yes, his cheques are being garnished now. He hasn't told me when he will be starting EI.

    You said he texted you he will be going on EI in a month, so that is telling you. I would give FRO the heads up, so they can send EI the papers to start garnishing him from his 1st check from EI. Then EI can have him flagged for when he applies and then the know they have to garnish his checks for FRO.

    He said a month at first than later he said in a few months. Maybe I will try to call FRO in a couple days and see what they say.
