Round 3 of the meds have ended.
DD just finished up round 3 of antibiotics to help clear multiple UTI's. The last 2 times that the meds have ended within 2 days she is doubled over in pain. She is 4 and can't explain the pain very well so its hard to know what is going on. In 7 days I have to take in a urine sample and see how that comes back (the other 2 times it showed 1-2 more infections). Please keep your fingers crossed that this is it and she is fine.
She is going for an ultra sound in December to see whats going on.

Crossing my fingers it has cleared up, I am glad you got an ultrasound, hopefully they can figure out why she has been getting back to back uti's.
Thanks, thats what is stumping everyone I think. The dr said its been different 'strands' of UTI's too so not just the same one and the antibiotics aren't working against it.

Fingers crossed. Such a nasty thing to deal with. Hope everything turns out okay.
I really hope she is feeling better soon and you get some answers.
I can't believe you have to wait until December to get in for an ultrasound. How come so long? Is there another place that can do it sooner?

I asked the secretary that but she said my dr was away and I would have to talk to her about trying to get in earlier. I am waiting to see how DD feels now without the med's.Originally Posted by Alysan
I feel horrible for her, she can't hold her bladder so she has many accidents through out the day.

Your poor DD. I hope she is doing alright and they get some answers for you soon. I can't believe she has to wait so long for an ultrasound.
