My dd was around 8 when she started wearing deodorant- she definitely needed it. She uses the Green Beaver brand from Lyn Dys. It has worked well so far and is organic.

My daughter started wanting to wear it a couple years ago, she uses the ones with no aluminum. Soft and dry and she has another roll on.
She doesn't necessarily need it, Ii haven't smelled anything from her, it's just her wanting to grow up
Now DS is 8 and I have smelled him so he will be getting some in his stocking but he only wants axe!

dd1 uses the soft and dry one too. She really only needs it after sports but I figure at 12 it's a good habit to start getting into. dd2 likes to put it on occasionally but doesn't need it yet.
Your life is a result of the choices you make, if you don't like your life it's time to start making better choices.
