Smile It was hard... but I did it.

I've been working my butt off to increase my speed... and today it finally clicked. It was my first day on week 5 of C25K and I rocked it. I didn't have to break... didn't have to catch my breath... it just clicked.

    And that felt soooo good.

My shins have been sore since starting soccer so I sort of backed off the running but I know I need to get going again!

ooh I haven't checked that out yet? Is it an app or just a website?? How's it work?

How fast are you running when you say you clicked? I always wonder how fast people do it...I usually run by distance so once I get bored I run faster to get it over with! LOL!

Gooood for yooooou!!!!I'm a chubby mama and today I did 5k in 34 min. .
And about the clicking, someone I ran with in the winter told me to stop taking walking breaks, just jog slower instead! It works! I haven't taken a break in 4 months.

My Home | dailymile - I don't know if there's an app... but it's a great motivator. I can add in all types of workouts, runs, yoga, etc. I like that it tells me my pace, how much I've burned (measured in donuts no less, LOL).

Now, I run a fairly slow pace. To me, it feels like I'm barely taking off at all...

Awesome! I need to figure out how to add you on dailymile.
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
